Google Summer of Code 2012: SilverStripe

Back in 2008, during the Google Highly Open Participation Contest, I had the pleasure to work with SilverStripe on some exciting features – since it was one of my first serious contributions to the Open Source community, it certainly brings back lots of wonderful memories.

It is a great pleasure for me to announce that I will be joining the SilverStripe team for the next few months as a Google Summer of Code participant, which I have been selected for, third consecutive year in a row now.

Meeting with Sigurd and the Google team in Mountain View back in the days was an incredible experience and I’m looking forward to meeting the whole SilverStripe team later this year in New Zealand.
